Ahhh true. Hope so. Some of the 'short route' people seemed to magically appear in the UK so that might be it.

Looks like Josh Reid got a 12h penalty for missing a check point. Which I think drops him to 4th.

There was a very long email from PCR organisers about checkpoints and not missing them last night.

From their version of events it sounds like Chinese whispers among riders at the front assuming that missing a checkpoint would only incur a 20min penalty, which obviously wasn't quite accurate
