Was going to say dewalt as Screwfix recently had a good deal, but I guess from the chat above it sounds like it's ended.
Although all my cordless stuff is dewalt (and I'm really happy with them) whenever I've been shopping for tools bare body Makita stuff seems to be the cheapest (or best VFM) out of Bosch Blue/dewalt/makita.
So if there is a deal out there for brushless including 2 batteries and the price difference is negligible, I'd tend towards Makita as I think it'll be cheaper in the long term as you add to it.
I know Milwalkie have had a big marketing drive over the last few years, but I think the number of blue or yellow kit you see UK trades use tells you that you can't go wrong with either dewalt or makita.
