  • The story with this one is that Matthew built it for a friend who rode it once or twice and then brought it back saying he'd probably never use it, he has another in the exact same geometry without the couplers.
So it sat on a shelf for the last 18 months at least, basically still new.

The paint has been removed so it will be sold with a brand new wet paint job in a colour of the buyer's choice. This is included in the cost and can be a single main colour with second colour for the downtube logo. It looked great in red but it had scuffs and scrapes from storage.

It is Columbus Spirit throughout except the chainstays which are XCR stainless steel. All the bosses are stainless.

Currently there are bosses only for 1x mechanical groupset but it will be sold suitable for whatever configuration the buyer wants. 2x, 1x, wireless etc.

It takes rim brakes, a 31.6mm seatpost, band on front mech. A clamp adapter can be provided.

Includes carbon fork which is a Columbus Grammy. I think this is only specced to take a 25c tyre. I've squeezed a measured 29mm tyre in there and it goes but I can't recommend it. The steerer is cut as in the built up/frameset picture. It's just over 21cm in length.

Includes a similarly new Chris King Inset 7 headset in silver.

Geometry is attached. 537mm effective top tube.

    The price is £2000

That's for the Saffron frame, stainless steel S&S couplers, carbon fork, Chris King headset, wet paint in any colour.

It would cost approx £4,650 to commission this new. The couplers alone are £1k.

Postage is possible, as is collection in SE London
