Is this a knot in the shifter cable?
P.S. the shadow of that cable in front of the headlight would drive me nuts.

I'm really hoping it's a cable tie.

Power cable for the front light?

I'm really hoping it's a cable tie.
I’m really hoping it’s a knot that loops from the brake lever into the gripshift 😀
-
• #47956
Yep, looks like the charging lead for the front light, roped in to tame that huge dangle.
-
• #47957
Unlikely to cause a shadow imo.

The shadow would be the least of my worries! I'm almost most offended by the stem.
After all the cost and effort involved in getting it to this point, why wouldn't you just throw caution to the wind and buy a matching purple Boxcar stem?!

Based on the shifter I would say that it is a rohloff hub.
With the total length of cables on that bike you can go fishing. The knot seems to be made using the power cable of the klite ultra racing light. The light does not seem to be connected to anything?

Why would you even do this - and then think you’d added value to Campag’s budget superseded groupset? And yes, they've done the whole groupset.

Awful Taste But Great Execution
Edit: nah, not even awful taste. Its a weird choice, but I could see that on a Master coming together very nicely. It's definitely not worth £2k to me, but its very nicely done.

Yes, definitely ATBGE. For me, the mistake people make is, Potenza or Athena are not Record. They're nothing like as nice as 1999 9-speed Record would be on a lovely old frame. If doing MGOOF then you need at least modern Record.

What does it mean this 'EXtreme-C'? Is it just random or a colnago model or so?
Edit: googled it,doesn't help that it's such a cheesy name

But what if you don't like black plastic? If you want an all metal mechanical rim brake groupset these days, it's Tiagra or nothing. If you want it shiny, it's nothing.

Local trade group finds. Cinelli is for sale for mere 1.500 USD!

But if you want shiny, it's not really "M"GOOF... unless you're prepared to polish a modern Shimano crankset, which should be possible I guess

It isn't, but it could be. I don't know what Campag is even for these days, but one of the things it could be for if it wanted to be is making a really nice shiny all metal rim brake groupset. It's niche, but buying anything Campag is niche these days and hipsters pay some astonishing money for much worse things than 2008 Veloce.

I would buy the shit out of a 11s shiny metal record group. Preferably the pre-2015 style, 5 arm crank.

You can get polished Shimano GRX, although I suppose some of it, like the brake levers, is silver plastic.

polished Shimano GRX
It's silver-ish, but it's not polished, and even if it was...
And it's not rim brake, which rules out MGOOF even for elderly gents who have to put MTB gearing on their old road frames to get up the hills.
It's also a brake short, Darwin Awards incoming....
