    Mine is singlespeed so I don’t have to deal with the gear cable but if I did I’d probably fit a quick release thing like I used to have on a Sachs/sram 3 speed hub.

    Should be possible to integrate that into other hub gear systems as it goes with a standard threaded control rod/chain end.

    I can never get the chain off the tensioner without unbolting it. It has a silver disc on it that makes it more difficult.
