Kawasaki KLR250 1986
ULEZ exempt - tested at Riverbank, which came to 300£
Actual mileage is approx. 23500 - at some point the clock has been changed.
12 previous owners. UK model. In my hands since 2019 and have done around 2.500 miles on it.
It has been a great inner city commuter - super stable, light and surprisingly punchy. I used it on South London trails literally once, other than that used on paved roads. Starts first or second kick, cold or warm, even if sat for a while. Kept outside but always covered.
Bike is in great condition, and never caused trouble. Some patina on metal parts as pictures, plastics in great condition. All stickers come off easily. Upgraded WP rear shock. Steel rack from US worth over 100£, givi top box. Part service history and some receipts. Coming close to being historic (3 years to go), which is an added benefit. Serviced yearly at Beto Bikes. 1 key. Just had fresh 12 months MOT, and 150£ service inc. oil, filter, brake fluid and carb clean.
I've got a bigger road bike last year and as much as I wanted to keep the KLR I realize it is just not getting enough use.
