Last bits for Sooyaaaap done. He asked for a little crack pipe for his rear dynamo light and I have been meaning to do a better version of my own. I am very pleased with the outcome as it now work on both nds and ds and is easier to make for me.
I am gonna offer these in my futur webshop... Whenever that happens.I know fairlight have a similar thing in plastic but anyone else do it? If not this is now called the Crack Pipe Light Mount ™

Tidy. Maybe it could benefit from some kind of washer (spring or shakeproof) to stop it flopping over if the bolt isn't gorilla-ed right up.

I will join the queue for one of your rackstems.

Mine hasn't moved in two years and the wire helps keep it upright / attached should the bolt come loose

Can I smoke crack with it? If not then flagrant false advertising.

You can smoke crack in literally everything no?

This might have already been said before, but why exactly is the rear triangle detachable? Is it to be able to transport it more easily?

Hulsroy Danglebong ™

There is no reason why I couldn't do a stainless bong if someone wants that

Should be titanium though for the extra bikepacker points

Fuck old Mavic Cosmic Elites with sized bitch ass nipples. Had to make a custom cutting tool to drill out the old brass nipples without damaging the spoke threads. And then I had to do a couple of new rim inserts to be able rebuild and true the wheel. Fuck rims that require inserts, fuck bladed spokes and fuck not maintaining your shit and then selling it to me as if it's in perfect working condition.
Anyways wheel is rebuilt and can be trued when I am back from vacation in two weeks.

At least they look cool tho 😌

True, but I bought these because hubs are always great on Mavic wheels and I just wanted to ride immediately. Now the bike have been out of action for +2 weeks 🤣

Oi,
kind of sorry and happy at the same time to hear that your phd plan doesn't work.
this detachable mod is awsome. had something like this in mind as well. couplers way too expansive and ritchey brake away stuff... idk.
can't wait to see more stuff from you.
Depends a bit how much play there is in the joint next to the BB and how tight you fasten that up. If it pivots while riding it could create stress on the upper part. I think it would be ok, maybe not if you do 200k of loaded washboard gravel every day. :)
Looks rad nevertheless!
As you said, if it breaks fix it and move on to V2.
