Johnson missing the deadline to hand over his phone/whatsapp records to the covid enquiry.
Is anyone actually reporting this?
-
• #83153
The Independent, LBC, FT, Guardian...
-
• #83154
Should have clarified - broadcast media
I didn't even see it on C4 News, which might have been expected
I also assume it will be discovered soon that the phone has been lost

Yes, these messages are from his old phone he had to turn off as the number had been online for 15 years.
He is still in possession of it and "co-operating" with government security officials. The enquiry deadline for Cabinet Office to hand over those messages was yesterday. -

Has there been any day in the last, say, 20 years, when some woman has not actually been pregnant with a child of Boris Johnson?
-
• #83157
Presumably tomorrow? Probably.
-
• #83158
I did some maths. Since 1993 someone that we know of has been pregnant with a child of Boris Johnson about 20% of the time. Probably.

They won't be in good health, by now.

In case anyone missed it, the Prigozhin story has flared up again. It turns out that he went to the Kremlin with his commanders to meet Putin five days after his 'mutiny'. https://www.ft.com/content/b026a710-ed24-47f2-bf9c-a61e30724b6b

Huw Edwards wife has named him as the 'mystery' man and the police have found no evidence to charge him with anything.

This is a breaking news story and I'm off for my tea.

She said he was "suffering from serious mental health issues" and is "receiving in-patient hospital care where he will stay for the foreseeable future"

I love seeing this.
In my previous job I installed plenty of bird spikes(even in fucking trees). I always informed the client(always poshos in Hampstead/Highgate) that they don’t work very effectively at all.
Would often revisit the jobs to find small birds had taken up residence between the spikes or big fat pigeons building nests right on top.
Let’s not even think about chucking more shitty plastic around the place just for the sake of it… -

How very fucking convenient.
Does being a dirty old man usually result in in-patient treatment? -
• #83167
He has a very public history of long term mental health problems
-
• #83168
Then I apologise for jumping to conclusions, was not aware of that.

Appears to be just a bit of a shit story, the sun wanting to out someone who didn't want to be outed and bought photos from a consenting adult
-
• #83170
Technically they were under 18. So explicit photos is a no no.
-
• #83171
Police have come out this afternoon saying nothing illegal has taken place, only the sun has suggested anything underage happened, if it turns out to be the case then that's obviously a different matter
-
• #83172
Not sure there is any actual evidence of this, as the Police have found no criminal wrongdoing.
If they were from ‘OnlyFans’ it would be reasonable to assume they were 18+ as their policy stipulates this for those selling material on OF.
-
• #83173
One of the most disappointing things of this while unedifying tale was how many people on here were willing to do the Sun's bidding by naming him to try to smoke him out. Bet they've got a great pun lined up for tomorrow's front page - thanks for that.
-
• #83174
Quick disclaimer, I’m no expert.
There was something on radio 1 at the weekend that was saying sexually explicit photos for someone under 18 is illegal.
-
• #83175
That is true but it isn't unknown for the Sun to be "hazy" on the details to make a story.
Exactly. Which is why they will lead with the celebrity thing again all day.
