I've really struggled with getting much over 30c into my Allday with mudguards. Intrigued to see how you fare and after many nights battling with different guards and different tyre combos, praying for you. 🙏

What's the reason for using the rack bosses instead of the fender ones at the dropout?
Just to keep it out of the way?

Yep - exactly. The position of the track nut vs the fender mount meant the stay bolt would reduce the amount of turn you can get on a wrench. Anything to make a mid winter puncture a tad easier :)
