Another excel question. Slightly more complicated.
Is there a way to link a cell to a website with a changing percentage on it, so the cell updates when the websites percentage changes? If that’s too vague I can go into more detail?

What's the website? I have done this before with limited success using the "From Web" function. But I'm a luddite so it's usually trial and error for me depending on the site and whether I can pinpoint the right field or not.

Well, it’s interest rates from banks websites.

Yeah you want: Data > From Web
It works much better with tables of data from things like public body websites.
There's an excel thread on here with lots of xls gurus that has been a constant lifesaver for me.

Power query may well be the best thing for this (which you'll get with Data > From Web).
I find google sheets is often better for this with the ImportHTML command although if you really need it in Excel you then need to link to that.

Any interest in this monitor arm: CBS flo dual plus. £30? I paid over 20 for the clamp alone.
The counterbalance adjustment screw is gone so you'll either get lucky or have to get creative. Doesn't seem like an easy fix but I could be wrong. That said I used it happily as-is for a couple of months
Collection from Cardiff, or coming to Bristol next weekend. Happy to post at cost, looks to be about £10 as it's a big beast.

Has anyone tried an lg dialup monitor? Especially for coding. It has a 16:18 aspect ratio and is the equivalent of 2 21.5in wide screen monitors stacked on top of each other. I'm tempted to switch out my ultrawide for one.
Are there any other 16:18 monitors out there?

LG DualUp is the only one a search finds, but you could just stack two normal 2560x1440 displays on a stand if you can find ones with bezels you don't object to.

I would mostly use it as one monitor I think.

weirdly I stuck it in my save for later basket on amazon yesterday so i can come back to it when my garden office is finished. looks quite interesting.
I work with two screens stacked (one ultrawide and one pen display) and much prefer it to side by side screens as it feels easier to slightly look up and down than turn head side to side.
i would like to use my pen display at more of an incline as a proper tablet type display though so i think the dualup might make a nice replacement for the ultrawide.

I’d love one of these if they only were higher res. Having used an LG 5k there’s no going back.
Used to run my laptop + a 27” just above it, was a great setup. Better the. The 27+tilted 24 I run now

I was fine using my 2x27", until one day I opened up my laptop on the desk in front of them and haven't looked back. It used to sit in the vertical stand that is sitting empty under the LH monitor, if anyone wants it. I have a cheap version of one of those additional 15.6" monitors that I bought for taking into the office (two weeks later they bought proper monitors for all the desks..) so that might creep in soon. If I can be arsed to tidy my desk.
Left hand screen is for UI and other Chrome related nonsense I need to present on customer calls. Webcam is on top of that monitor so if the customer is particularly sociable and wants cameras on, then I am looking vaguely in their direction. RH is for email, excel or anything else I would need to support the call/presentation but does not need to be shared. Laptop is for teams and Firefox/Whatsapp/personal browsing. Mic is in the webcam (some silly ASUS ROG one that was well reviewed and on sale) and speakers are PreSonus Eris E5 Bluetooth studio monitors. I had to put them on angled risers as they are hilariously directional (I shouldn't have bought monitors) but they work really well with the webcam mic. Sound on the other end of calls (or recordings) is great and the sound this end is fantastic.

You're one of those people that eats bowls of cereal during Teams calls. You monster.
(Nice setup.)

That whole "stick a laptop between keyboard and monitors" is proper Pukes On Cock.
You have the same speakers as me though so you've redeemed yourself somewhat.

Is that a thing? Won't that make your coffee a proper petri dish after a few hours?

Humans don't deserve this planet.
I’ll give that try on Monday. Thanks Hive Mind
