Ok so gonna put an Ekar kit on this bike. Stay with the Ti EEWings and use a Ratio Technology ring or use a Ekar crankset?

Easily Ekar IMO.

I'd go EEWings with a black spider and black chainring. Ratio narrow wide or SRAM Force 1x ring (all black or black and silver) would be my pick.

The problem being the Ekar uses it’s narrow tooth profile, so if I go EE I’m stuck with Ratio I believe?

Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that. You're right, Ekar seems to require a narrow wide chainring with thinner teeth. I'd go for Ratio in that case. :-)

Or like JB mentioned the Ekar crank if you already have it.

Was worried that the aluminininium spider wouldn’t match the ti crank arms, looks like Cane Creek knows what they’re about.

Loaded up for a little adventure. Original plans were some surf side casting, and perhaps a little beach bum blanket action. But beaches are closed due to “high bacteria alert.” See what’s we can catch in the lakes instead.
