I've just been back to ECP and exchanged the wrong plug for the correct one. Replaced it in the car and the one I removed was broken. So the car now seems to idling much better - not had a chance to drive it yet.
I'm still seeing the same error codes on the scanner though. Probably a massively n00b question, but if I delete the codes, if the error is still present will the code appear again when I rescan?
Depends what exactly caused the error.
For example my wife’s jazz occasionally throws an o2 sensor fault and it goes away after being cleared as the fault condition doesn’t repeat.
