Science museum by the station is kinda rad.
Vondel Park check for open air music shows and if weather is nice bring paddling pool stuff.
There’s a bunch of city farms and a kids cooking school that ours was a bit too young for.

+1 for Nemo Science Museum (and climb up on the roof for cool views)
Ride the free ferry over to the north of the water for ice cream / pancakes
Artis zoo (if you're into that sort of thing)
Amstel park has a kids playground, mini golf, minuature train, etc
Rent a bakfiets and go for a chilled ride out to Muiden or Marken -

Cycle for 15 minutes south east from Neiumarket to The Hortus Botanicus. It's awesome, they've got a Woolemi pine, a butterfly house, tropical hothouse, nice cafe and the actual coffee plant that was exported to Brazil so a third of the world drinks coffee from that plant.

The butterflies are flipping enormous and zoom around your head.

Waterlooplein Kilo Store is THE place to go for all kinds of clothes at great prices. Like my dream charity shop clothes section.

No, used to go a lot. I'd always get a few hundred tulips from the floating flower market near the diamond shop but I read the last actual flower shop is closing:
The tourism is pretty insane, only a million residents, 23m visitors a year.
Hope you're having a good time benjy.

They will probably be showing it in the Rapha shop, if not they should be able to recommend somewhere.

Old tram place. There is a lovely cafe close by called 'The breakfast club', and a nice street food place too.

Cheers will check it out
Off to Amsterdam on Thursday.
Anyone got any particularly good tips?
I'll be with my 4-year-old daughter so anything family-friendly would be especially welcomed!
Cheers :-)
