Not me I'm afraid. Little from column a, little from column b I guess? Anything below 7/8mph is a struggle, it's happier from 10mph.
With the Nexus I believe it's the lowest gear that is direct drive and then 2-5 are overdriven, so 38/27 really isn't a very low bottom gear. I'd like to get a Rohloff eventually but I don't think they play with the Steps system.

That's really useful as I'm also in the South Downs (btw have I seen your bike in Glynde/around Lewes?) and was thinking about a Nexus 5E on an Omnium with an EP8 motor to carry my kids further than I currently do on my unassisted Omnium. Do you think it's the motor lacking power or just cadence not being high enough?
