how common is ad blue in modern diesel engines. and it it just to get the motors to pass the recent emissions laws ?
I’ve never driven a car with adblue, but driven plenty vans that use it. It’s basically a solvent (urea maybe?) that helps break down the exhaust gasses to help reduce emissions.
