Uh-oh. I'll just sell a kidney now.

Wow - that is beautiful . GLWTS .

Sorry, p/ex not available on kidneys.
In fact p/ex not available for anything this time around... -

Happy to split but only if I get confirmed offer on frame & fork first, looking for around
£1600... now 'just' £1550 (but no less). -

Having been a previous owner of a De Rosa Titanio, I can confirm that they are beautiful bikes to ride.
I imagine this is in pristine condition too, as @retrodicorsa really looks after his bikes.

Thanks @andyp - pristine it is. It's probably more a case that with 'too many' bikes, each one only tends to gets a small look-in, plus I tend to rotate groupsets and wheels depending on what builds I've got going through!
Still not had time to photograph much else in current state, but how about a traditional weekend bump - a whole £50 off either the complete bike or frame and fork? It's not going to get any cheaper by the way....!

I saw this bike in person the other day - it is really beautiful. If it was my size I would be selling an organ or a child to pay for it… GLWS!

Next up, a very fine Colnago Master Olympic Decor, probably my favourite Decor colour scheme. SOLD!!

And now... 🥁🥁🥁... a 1983 (I believe) Masi Prestige, previous owner had a bare-metal restoration done at Argos Bristol with new chrome, paint, decals, pantographs picked out, it's truly beautiful and 'as new', the refurb cost them a small fortune. The paint is actually a subtle metallic that pops in the sun and is more of an orangey red. Very handsome.
I'm looking for £1,850 for the complete bike, or £985 for F&F only.
Frame sizing (cm):
57.5 c2t, 56 c2c, seat tube
56 c2c top tube

Had a Tecnos in the same colourway. Wish I still had it. Thank God you’re a giant !!
-
• #12
I wouldn't say I was a giant, but I was just thinking they look 'big' in the photos! As it happens I also have a Tecnos in pink decor, it's even nicer than Master both in colour and ride, just not sure I can part with that one. Same size tho, 56sq give or take.
-
• #13
I’m just glad that a) these are ever so slightly too big for me, and b) I’m not the only one who lines up tyre logos with the valves.
-
• #14
Haha - I think it should be compulsory! Apart from the aesthetic, helps when you puncture of course 😉

Just realised I failed to add the link to some photos - there are more for each of the bikes/frames shown, but I don't actually have photos of some in the list, I will try and add them in due course. If you want more of a specific bike/frame let me know but be patient.

Tecnos hunters @keepitmencap and @Chellis88 I have DM'd you both just now.

Seeing this thread is amazing and worrying for how nice it would be to buy lots of lovely bikes.
-
• #23
It's a perk of building several hundred bikes for other people, like living in the proverbial sweet shop - it's just got a bit out of hand, more like a drug habit. In fact a drug habit would probably be cheaper and definitely take up less space!
-
• #24
Putting this thread on ignore for the sake of my wallet
-
• #25
Depends how much drugs you take 😂
This is the thread formerly known as 'The Crown Jewels', scroll down to 2nd page for the latest Masi Prestige updates
So, first up is my only remaining non-ferrous bike, this De Rosa Titanio EOS.
Paint is pearlescent white, sparkly in the sun and very nicely finished. This is their top of the range Ti tube set known as 'EOS'
EOS apparently stands for Elliptical | Oversize | Shaped,
in other words a bit like a Ti version of Max/MXL.
Apart from that, it's a De Rosa Titanio - what more need I say?
"It's SOLD!"
Scroll down for Masi Prestige
