the timing of the stories warms my cockles.
There are so many women (10+?) linked to Osborne in the email that the story might last for longer than he would like. Plus there's the mystery of who wrote it. Also there are screenshots attached to the original email. We haven't seen those yet. It could drag on for weeks. The author must be a bit of an expert at press manipulation. A journalist or lobbyist or PR?

They don't have to be any of those things. Vengeful, possibly obsessive malice directed towards an establishment figure like Osborne in this way is going to fascinate the press without the person doing it having any skill. The email has a scattergun approach - not surprising since they clearly read a lot of Popbitch - and doesn't exactly feel well crafted, just comprehensive. Where they got the email addresses is a question, but they might just be from one of the overlapping social circles Osborne is in, or just well connected in the Popbitch and dragging site world, where key players will have a lot of those addresses by now.
We don't have to go QAnon on this.
Then there is this old story...

Edit to add.. the timing of the stories warms my cockles.
