I have yet to be impressed with my almost year old Pixel 6a.
Unfortunately I had to replace a cheap (£199) Motorola G5G, (when it fell into the River Pinn), shortly before the 7 series were launched. I paid £399, but couldn't find anything else to consider. There might have been a Samsung, who can trust a lower tier Chinese phone?
The only Pixel advantage is the software/security updates for 3/4? years.
It is functional for podcasts/adequate photos/activity tracking/browsing.

Really? I've been using mine since Aug last year and it's been great.
Her SD card in her XCover shat itself in Poland so I just pulled the trigger on another 6a (in horrible green colour because she's a wrongun) for her. I figured I know the 6a works and it was £100 cheaper than the new one.
6a = £299
7a = £399
Missus has old phone neither of us like, mostly because the camera is shit
Which of the above would you buy and why? Personally leaning towards another 6a because money and battery life.
