For some reason I thought BS was from Up Pompeii rather than Monty Python.

I always get that wrong too!

Is Letraset still a thing?
(Seems it can still be found on eBay/etc.)

Direct mount hangers. Do they need/can they be aligned like standard ones for better shifting?
-

I still have 2 Letraset burnishers. They're a very useful tool for removing the seals on the brake calipers on my Honda without causing any damage.
4D models will make you rub-down transfers of any artwork you provide them with.
Letraset?
No idea. -

If you want the stickers in vinyl I could do that for you. Haz vinyl cutter, will cut vinyl.

I am building a pub bike out of the dregs of the spares box and I need to shim out a 27.2 seat post to fit what I think is a 28mm dia seattube. I think beer cans are 0.1 mm, so that would be four wraps, can anyone suggest a slightly more practical material for a shim please?
-
• #117759
More practical would be to buy a shim e.g. https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/seat-posts/280-use-seat-post-shim-272-mm-id/

You could print it on water slide decal paper. Then varnish to protect it. There would be some clear decal around the edges of the letters but it wouldn't be visible unless you get very close and shine a strong light on it.

Does anyone have a good to do list notebook recommendation?
Getting a bit overwhelmed with life admin and my thought was to have a book where one section can be a long never ending list of everything - a backlog I guess. Then another section where I review the backlog and create daily prioritised lists.
I feel that digital ones have a lot of advantages, but just don't seem to work and increase admin. Whereas taking note on my phone or sending msgs, then updating one permanent book that lives at home would work.
Cheers

Decided to get legal counsel notepads with perforated pages.
Plan is to have the backlog in the back half and then create prioritised TDLs in the front that I can tear out when done.

The integrity of user data was the guiding principle when developing EPOC, so I'd be 99% sure that it'll still be there.
-
• #117768
Did you work on EPOC or Symbian?
-

If it was stored in the RAM disk or on a battery backed card itβll be long gone. If you saved it to a flash card, maybeβ¦

Maybe. What do you mean by 'slideshow'?

If you mean can they be re-aligned to correct the shifting, IME thus far yes.

The latter mainly. The first project I worked on was with Psion who were looking to release a PDA with Bluetooth, which mainly involved them trying to port a Bluetooth stack to EPOC32 and me telling them it would be easier to port their UI to Symbian.

This is surprisingly very big, too big diameter. The elite one is SO NEARLY good but the battery wonβt fit in.
Any other smart ideas please?
Apparently a bidon has a 74mm diameter.
