How deep did you run the cable in the ground? Did you bury warning tape above it? https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Index/Necessities_Index/Electric_Cable_Below_Tape/index.html
UK signs would look like this:

I think there's a fairly standard convention for these things, which I'd guess is why you can't find metal ones like that in the UK.

I was using a mini mattock so i could only get down to 45cm as that was as low as i could swing it but i have a full size one coming today so i'm digging it down to 60cm when the weather stops being shit again so the trench will be open for a bit
I also have 5m of this coming to cover the cable in the trench before I fill it in.
https://www.superlecdirect.com/cable-accessories/hazard-warnings/4012-centriforce-stokbord-cable-protection-tile-cw-pegs/but I just want something that will be immediately visible above ground to indicate where it is and not fade or get easily damaged.
probably easier to have them engraved on etsy or something I guess
anyone know where I can get these kind of warning plaques in the uk. only site I can find is in Aus.
we've ran power to my summer house and I'd like to put plaques indicating either end of the run under the lawn and warning plaques along the top of where it runs under the decking just so we never have any issues in later years or if work is done when I'm not around.
