  • I'd guess a lot of the 'accidentally vegan' stuff and anything that may contain traces of because of cross contamination through shared machinery may contain traces of it. I'm not too fussed but can see why people might be. There's also bound to be traces of insects and whatever else in flour and all sorts. I think you could only be sure if it's marked as actually free from for people with allergies. Even if you start just eating apples you pick some of those may contain half a worm. I'd kinda hope the stuff with that vegan mark have any traces at a very, very low possiblity.

  • Yeah, I didn't realise that in Germany it's common for food to be labelled labelled vegetarian even if it uses meat stock or rennet containing cheeses.
