I’ve had a shit streak for bikes lately;
I knew the front rim on the Kish was getting a bit borderline, but was hoping to baby it though for another month or so, but I had to make an emergency stop after a car pulled out in front of me. Well I stopped, but squished the front rim in by a good 5mm. So new rims needed for the Phil’s then.
I also managed to snap a couple of spokes on the rear wheel of the Pest having hit a branch sticking out of the long grass. The dura ace track hubs have needed new rims for a while anyway and the nipples/spokes are stuck so…
And to cap it all tonight riding home I hopped a pile of horse shit and snapped a spoke on landing on the Langster. The rims are made of girders so just a new spoke needed there.
But FFS!
