Main reason for looking into alternatives is the Borough Large is $240 here - so the equivalent of 207GBP after I've paid tax. I have a few bits of Vincita stuff, in particular a Brompton carrybag. It's decent stuff but not as good quality as the Brompton stuff I'd say.

Ended up buying this ‘TWTOPSE’ branded bag. Half the price of the Borough Large. Silly name, but made from a Cordura-like fabric. Perfect stitching, really well constructed. No concerns about longevity. It’s akin to T Bag and basically copies it. I haven’t had one for about ten years but it feels very familiar. Bad photo but took it to demonstrate the height for @spotter

The UB-Lite Ezy. Much nicer platform, if a little more chonky.
