Longer would be better . I had a enve and it constantly pulled out.

Pro make a long one that doesn’t have the top lip that sits on the top of the steerer

I don’t know but have wondered if the top lip of the deda is a good thing or not

Top lip on Deda prevents the body from falling into the steerer if you haven't tightened it up.

I use Columbus', 11.99 and easily available.
