Thanks for this!
as I said to andy, I'm on holiday soon and the funds these wheels would come from are allocated as "ice cream" and "be a yes dad". -

Some cheap Rapha kit in the John Lewis sale at the moment. I’ve not checked online but the shop near us had men’s Core bib shorts for £66 and women’s bib tights for £33.
Might be worth a look. -

True, just checked online and they have quite a bit in sensible sizes too - you can sort by discount, some bargains 👍🏼

Yeah, spotted that (very near where I live). Slightly too big for me otherwise I’d have been tempted.

And I'm lucky it's too small for me as it's also very near where I live!

East Bristol massive!
-
• #5968
Too small for me too, in East Bristol. Might take it anyway. Sure I'll find someone who wants to ride it.

Has anyone bought stuff from the John Pye auctions?
There's loads of Lake shoes and a few sets of Jagwire shift/brake kits on right now

Any time I've looked its all been total shite and/or going for near retail prices once you factor in the fees and stuff.

I bought a camera from them once and would avoid. Every step from registration to payment was odd. After that first purchase my account was deauthorised for further purchases.
I just logged in again and it doesn't show my purchase in the history.
Also most of their listings look like the most shifty Ebay sellers.

Had a chat with them at the cycleshow about how do you know what your buying if it is all boxes . They advised to come and look at their showrooms . They admit to having no bike knowledge .

Thanks for this, just bought 3

What did the quality seem like?
I need one for the family to share and while this isn't the cheapest I'd be inclined to trust decathlon more than Blacks.
Can't find any info anywhere so I'm gonna pass
