And a 'Water donation'? Surprised they haven't got rent and rates on there as well.

Love a bruschtta, but where is the lettuce. On the bread or on the tomato mix. Or as you say lettuce on toast.

I’m not sure what’s worse- calling it a donation so they can bill for it, or charging a buck fifty for a glass of legally free tap water.

If you get to decide if part of your bill goes to the server for health insurance or not, can you also hypothecate other proportions? Could you, for instance, decide that you want to withhold the 20% that contributes to profit?

You can, by not eating at places that bill like this.

Is it legally free in the US the same way it is here? It's still bullshit, obvs, but just wondering.

,@paininthe yeah bruschetta is cheap food, stale bread and tomatoes that are very over ripe. But for good bruschetta I would pay that. But for that aberration....
