I had a Panda years ago and loved it. Not great if you're regularly transporting more than 2 people, there's not loads of leg room in the back. With the seats flat I could fit a whole drum kit in it though, it was a bit of a tardis. Not sure I'd describe the 1.1 litre diesel engine as "punchy" though.

Yaris of some sort?
Or knowing roughly where you live, whatever doesn't cost an arm and a leg to insure and that if something does happen such as nicked or hit and run that you can scrap without worrying.
MK2 golf it is then. You only live once...oh ulez :(
Get the panda then a roof box. Do you mean the MK1 panda (80s) or modern ish ones
How about a civic like fox has?
I know where the forums heart lies, but...Honda jazz or Fiat panda? We can't s small car with good carrying capability.
More importantly, partner likes a punchy car. She has a somewhat heavy foot. Which is more fun.
To counter what some of you are thinking, yeah, I'd love the 100BHP Panda, but no..
