There are some things I'm simply not willing to compromise on.

New dog owners with those f’ing 10m training leads. I hope their dog garrottes them.

Is that better or worser than those that can't be recalled off the lead?
-
• #5331
No objection to people who use them to train their dogs for recall but it seems the done thing round here to just walk their bonkers dog with a 10m radius which then gets in an almighty tangle with people, kids, but my favourite is when they meet another 10m pup and they end in such a knot the owners have to let them off lead just fix it.

Any whippet / small lurcher owners interested in this Pampeano collar? They've changed the sizing so it no longer fits my lurcher. It's the larger of the two sizes. Brand new but I missed the returns window - £15 + postage?

Missed this! Happy 20days after birthday, crumpet!
Odie still gleefully scoffs his own turds - not expecting him to grow out of that any time soon, sadly

Hasn't he heard the saying about getting high on your own supply?

Just back from the v.ets with Dolly Mixture. She’s had the trots and started puking last night. We thought she’d eaten some fallen cherries on her walk the other day, but thankfully it looks like it’s just a bug. Still £100 down for some tablets, powder and syrup. She just did her first proper turd since Friday so that’s good. But fuck me we may as well burn £20 notes in the garden. We’re now listening to the radio.

She looks quite smug there.

• #5337
That’s because she’s just had her ‘special’ dinner with biomes, antibiotics and £50 notes!

That actually doesn't sound half bad.

A never before seen, first kill for a baby panda. Their appearance changes very quickly after this stage.

Mine decided to roll in something whilst in a local park this morning. I thought it was a log at first, but as I got closer I realised it was a large dead fish from the lake.
He absolutely stinks.

Doggo picked up a grass seed in his rear paw last weekend during a walk round chislehurst.
Noticed a small scratch at the time and this being the 1st time it happened thought it may be a bramble…fine during the week and walking fine up till Saturday. Then went lame..went to the vets today and the pulled it out…£850 bill fml…thank god for insurance.
Now sleeping off the drugs…though this could be a picture of 90% of his life

Yeah, those foxtails are a bastard. We check paws daily after going through this a couple of times.

My wife hasn't been well, so when she went for a lie down at 5.00 I presumed she hadn't fed the dogs. At 5.30 I fed them and walked them. Yep,they had already been fed. I wondered why they were less enthusiastic about food than normal. But did they say 'thank you, but I have already dined royally', did they fuck.
So now, at 11pm I shall walk four farting, belching, overinflated barrage balloons until they can be trusted not to leave the kitchen knee deep in shite.

Crikey that's crazy. Mine was put under general and had some removed from up inside his paws, 250 euro.

Exactly what happened in this case…he was back to normal within 48hrs. We are now in Cornwall, and he’s marching around like a trooper

Puppy incoming here - very excited, sure we'll have loads of questions. Have been following this thread anyway (cos dogs) and have read back through some previous puppy/training bits, which were really helpful. One question I have at the moment as whether you let your unvaxed pup into your own garden before second jab? I had assumed they'd have the run of the garden and gentle toilet training would start immediately. The vet advised no outside whatsoever until fully jabbed. Is this ultra-caution or good advice? Our garden is private and pretty secure, but we've definitely had foxes visiting from time to time...

So long as its a private garden and you haven't had other dogs there I think it's fine.

I’d use it as potty and lead training, but even if it’s a shared garden, you’re probably fine.
Stop shitting next to her.
