• Goal wasn't to increase battery life, it was to run XTR Di2 RD with a road/gravel Di2 front derailler (which Shimano don't allow for some reason).

    I’m no math genius, but (46-30)+(46-11) does not equal 36, I don’t think.

  • Needs to be tested, by looking at it doesn't really look there's more capacity in there than the old Ultegra RX/GRX double,and less choice of cassette sizes

  • They do seem to finally have realised that we're not all World Tour freaks pushing 100" gears up mountains at 30kph. Who knew? 46/30 will be the new 'Compact' crank for sure.
