  • Starmer doesn't have the power to kick someone out of the party, hence Corbyn still being a member but not a Labour MP.
    Would it not be the wider party headed by the NEC that makes membership decisions.
    Starmer would only control the PLP?

    This seems to be a grudge.

    Or am I completely off?

  • The settling of scores in political parties is part and parcel of their function. Internecine warfare is a primary motivation for a lot of people who join political parties.

    Labour's problem is that when they do it, it gets reported in the Tory press. Usually when the Tories do it, no-one notices.
