  • I like ultrawide. I've got 34"3440 x 1440 which is about the sweet spot I reckon.

    Prefer it to dual monitors as you can have something directly in front of you with no bezel and it's ideal for very wide spreadsheets.

    I normally have either two things as if it's a dual monitor or three things (one either side and slightly bigger in the middle).

    Are you physically resizing them to that point or is software doing it automatically? I wonder if a game would play in one side and a browser would open in another? Does the monitor/OS somehow compartmentalise them?

  • Windows automatically snaps to the sides or the corners or top/bottom to do halves or quarters (either by dragging or keyboard shortcut).

    For the triple I use power toys (free Microsoft addin) which allows you to set default zones however you like.
