Im just looking to upgrade my seriously limited spec Transition Rapture.
Trying to find all options and this looks very suitable.

I'd actually love a Rapture as a geared commuter version of my Pompino. Just super hard to find.
Thinking about buying one of those new On-One Mulo's if they ever get the XL back in stock and replacing the dropouts but we'll see.The Sutra is really nice. Should've bought one in 2017 instead of the Stavanger I had for five years. Good mix of high/mid-trail, mtb-feel, loading options but still pretty lively. Fits proper big tyres too.
The new Sutra LTD is a bit different if you want to compare. -

I do love the Rapture, however the frame only has one set of cage mounts and no fender mounts, so very limiting. I may just get some brazed on and then all is sorted. Clearance is limited on the rear however.
Im keeping an eye out for a sutra at a reasonable price!

Still got the wide adjustable two-piece handlebar on it? That's insane and awesome.

Ah, yes. Bit older pic but still going strong and I still have all my teeth contrary to what someone was worried about a few years ago :D
Switched out the Easton bars for some Ritcheys. Backsweep is kind of a must for the flat section when the bars are something like 56-58cm wide at the hoods.

Split bar!? What...Thats incredible, any reason as to why? Im all thumbs up for this shit.
-
• #26942
Because those Crust bars are so expensive. Ritchey bars are like £25 and materials for the stem even less. And I got to make something myself.
Oh and I like wide drop bars.

Why has nobody from the regular visitors of the functional thread bought that really cool old trek from classified?

Sorry for the appalling photo. Spotted the poshest tourer I've ever seen on a ferry from Hook of Holland to Harwich.

Beautiful bike, and all that nice kit, just to slap that gel saddle cover on. "To each butt, its own..." or something like that

I wonder what fork they are to take a front rack like that.
Get yourself down to Portsmouth, there is one for free there I hear.
I very nearly bought one a while ago until I saw what I good dealy Brompton was
