Anyone done the TMB? We're off in 10 days and I'm concerned my 4 year old Salomon boots are going to rub. Somehow the RH boot has stretched so my heel moves regardless of how tight the boot is.

Just done 36,000 steps/day for a week in my old Adidas Terrex and was super comfy, however I'm slightly concerned they won't be tough enough for the TMB?

Any advice much appreciated.

I've cycled it. I don't wear boots for anything, only trail runners. tmb path is so well beaten you could do it in comfy street shoes.

Thanks @JB @skinny I thought as much. May have to get a fresh set of the Terrex mids as the tread is pretty worn, but comfort over 10 days will be worth it.
