Had my second bad cold the past week and a bit (first was in March). Same deal again, really bad cough, lots of mucus, bad sinuses, constantly blowing my nose. Didn't test either time.
Last week I've been experiencing a really weird thing, I keep smelling cigarette smoke. At first I thought it must have been neighbours standing outside and the smoke coming in through the air bricks or whatever, but my GF doesn't smell a thing. It's gone from periodic to all the time. Sense of smell (like if I really sniff something) and taste is actually OK.
Anyway, wondering if it's a Covid thing in actuality? Anyone experienced anything like it?
I just read this now.
I have had the same sense of smelling cigarettes. It went away over several months after I had covid. I can’t say if it was causal or coincidence but I have never had it before.
