They're arguing that they drove into the back of you and it wasn't their fault? Lol
-
• #23507
Oh this is fantastic, what a lovely colour! I was shocked to discover how much Paris loves Goldwings the last time I was there!
Also fuck that prick who drove into you.

What a colour!
I'm looking for an older pan European for similar barge like wafting nonchalance. -

Is this the precursor to your insurance company accepting partial liability without consulting you?

What a perfect little road bike. Great noise, good power, light, small. It ticks all boxes.

Piss take how can you get rear end end someone and not accept it was your fault. Highway code is 100% in your favor though so they don't have a leg to stand on.

Super lucky that I have a few lanes on my commute that I have been enjoying of an eve on the way home.

Oh that looks like a fun commute! Sadly Ireland has little to no greenlaning but I do suspect there might be some spots along my commute that folks do unofficially venture off road 👀

• #23515
Unlikely as it’s McAMS not my insurer. Not sure

I joined Glass which gives you access to Trailwise 2. I have just had a look and it doesn't show any lanes in Ireland unfortunately. There must be some though. There are some on the IOM I can't see on the map either so it obviously just covers England and Ireland.

Thanks. Had my first proper ride out in the potholed and gravel strewn lanes near me last night. Absolutely loved it.
As a relative newb, I think it'll be perfect for me to gain lots of experience on and help build my confidence. Planning a little off road tuition too, which I hope will indirectly improve my road handling too.

Any interest in this UK44 RST Sabre airbag leather jacket?
I bought it new in late Jan 23 but it's had very little use for one reason or another.
It comes with a removable thermal layer that zips in or out. I'm considering replacing it with a more "adventure" jacket, but will get one with the same airbag system, so I'll supply a brand new In&Box control module with this jacket and keep my current one as its already registered to my account. You'll need to sign up to a subscription with In&Motion for the airbag to be activated. It costs me £12 a month btw. And I can refer you as a new subscriber and we'd both get 3 months FOC.
It's a snug fit, suited to sportsbike use.
£250 posted (UK)? Any questions, please ask.
Also got some RST leather jeans with built in knee protection (32" waist, short leg) that zip into the jacket that I'll probably move on too if any interest in those...?

Yes, this is a nice byproduct of riding off-road. If you really get into the off-road stuff, Rally Raid do some performance parts for the 250/300L. Lets us know how you get on.

Yeah I’m really tempted by an ST1100, and I’m wondering if you can get a CoC from Honda for the very late ones that might grant ULEZ exemption.

What the fuck?

Just get the cat fitted. Probably cheaper in the long run.
-
• #23523
How would it be cheaper than free? By improving fuel efficiency? I’m sceptical

I've decided to part with my 86 klr 250 after 4 years of happy use. london.
