Yeah, I've got one on my front wheel now. 45mm.
I don't do supple/harsh/rolls well blah blah blah. I don't notice shit, unless maybe I'm going from a race tyre to a 1kg ramp tyre. I just ride tyres over stuff.
Anyway, I like it. Used it in Scotland for An Turas Mor and 7 Serpents. Not super gripping once totally caked in mud (but neither is anything else) but generally I like it. Weirdly managed to puncture it going uphill but plugged fine.
I guess I like it because its been ridden over everything and apart from that one weird one it's been solid.
Anyone got any experience with Hutchinson Touareg?
Came on my bike and felt incredibly harsh, I think partly down to them being pumped up to maximum rated PSI. I let some air out which helped but wonder if they are always going to be harsh.
Also suspect they might be overkill for the riding I'll mostly be doing - more tending towards towpaths and other bits touring, rather than full on gravel, in which case does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement?
