  • Jaffa and Luzie would probably agree that it was planted for them.
And partners have to buy strange plants, then wonder why they look shit, and then tie it up so it looks stupid. And the cat of course still sits on it.

  • Second one looks like our grey one.
Is it also a soft as cashmere cat?
Also very cute pensioners and youngsters in your family!

  • This is bubbles - a one yr old rescue. My wife picked her up and as far as I am concerned fell for a pack of lies from cats protection - because she is a clearly a weirdo. Won’t be stroked or barely touched really. Nips quite a lot - not clear if it’s a play behaviour or not. She also likes to hunt toes poking out of duvets - which is a really unpleasant way to wake up. We let her out after about a month of house orientation - she promptly climbed a tree and dragged a baby robin back to play with…pretty tho - I’ll give her that.

  • Ziggy joined the fray today. His mission, which I hope he accepts, but seems too adorable for, is to clear out the mice we have.

  • Aw cute. My grey boy up the page is also a Ziggy

  • You have excellent taste!

  • Fingers crossed that the mice and cat don'r become allies against the dog or you. Have seen the documentaries

  • The third photo has the look (in my mind) one hopes the servant doesn't continue doing that as it is off putting. Then the second is look my teeth I could rip you apart but choose not to. Let that be a warning.

  • Double kitty.

Fleurs behaviour has been a bit more settled this end of the week so I’m sure she’ll be fine for a week while we’re both away. Neighbour popping round shortly to pick up the key. They get on well with Fleur so should be all good.

  • Can I pop round and talk fleurs ear off.

  • If I knew you then yes, I’ve done a lot of weird stuff with strangers off the internet over the years but trust them with my wife’s cat? Perhaps not 😅😅

  • I would annoy the cat by telling them I lurve them, they are sooooo cute, sooo soft, soooo beautiful.

Like every cat I meet on the street.

  • I think we’re good 😅

  • Anyone tried cat baths?

One of ours has spent a lot of time rolling around on the patio whilst we had building work going on. Her coat is pretty full of dust and stuff now.

  • Looks just like Stevie did as a kitten. So cute.

    Stevie's a big fat penguin now 😀

  • Apparently Ziggz is likely to end up big, cos of his big pawz.

Any thread advice on pet insurance?

  • PetPlan seem decent. Personally we've chosen to go with them for Doug. The problem with changing providers is if your cat has had problems in the past (even something minor) it counts as a 'pre-existising condition' which can effect premiums and the payout if that pre-existing condition flares up again. Personally I would go with PetPlan and stick with them.

  • Second that , pet plan all day. I've got three main coons and a ragdoll and it's the only reason I am able to sleep at night .

  • Does anyone know of a cat sitter type person who can administer medication? Our cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and needs insulin injections twice a day. We're going away on Friday for 6 days and need someone who can pop in and inject him in the morning and evening.
The vet is trying to find someone but doesn't seem to be getting very far and we anxious to get something sorted soon.

    Thanks!

  • Fleur survived being separated from her human. Spent all weekend being a noisy, demanding little madam so back to normal.
