Yeah I used the stuff that comes in a bottle, it’s quite thick, akin to paint stripper (oven pride or oven brite, can’t remember which). Not sure I’d be comfortable doing it on anything that wasn’t substantial. Didn’t need to be in there long at all! Glad @gbj_tester advised me to not try and do rims with this technique, lol.
Those were black anodized? Only with oven cleaner? Great result. I use oven cleaner to clean router bits or saw blades from resin.
