I have used this watch for the odd swim every now and then but have decided to replace it with a smaller swim-specific watch as I don’t need much of the fenix’s other features, particularly as I’ve always used a head unit for cycling.
This can do open water swimming, pool swimming, hiking, trail running, regular running, cycling, walking, xc skiing etc etc. GPS means it’s accurate and you can plot routes etc. It records all the metrics you would expect, distance, pace, speed etc etc.
It can be paired with a heart rate monitor and can also do multi sport if you’re into triathlon etc.
Comes with charger, the manual is easily found on the garmin website
