Definitely jealous of those, but still get pop-up flashes from Mk1s, so it's something!

You are dead to me. #popupligts4lyfe
Yeah they are where MK1 were, seen the prices of early uk steel wheel 1.6?
Is this golf chat?

Pop-ups vs baby Viper (vs boat vs cat at dinner table meme), they're all pretty excellent regardless!
Is this golf chat?
We can chat about the prices of Mk1 Golfs if you prefer though!

I never put sawdust in the food or send the cops out to beat people up or dump bodies in the snow or anything like that, and it does add an extra level of challenge.

I was very, very close to buying Giant Haystacks's old house off his sons a few years ago.
Coughs.

Haha it literally backed onto a golf course as well. It was a 3-bed semi in Prestwich BUT it had a double-storey garage. They were taking the mick on the price though. We ended up getting a better house for less.

I saw Giant Haystacks vs Big Daddy at the Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall. The best live event I've ever been to. Haystacks was terrifying. So were the crowd.

Positively they were quite mixed audiences and not just men iirc. My MIL appears to have zero interest in sport but used to go regularly to watch wrestling in Northampton and really got into it by all accounts (hooray for Johnny Georgeous! Booo to the Masked Marauder! Or whatever they were called).

The terrifying ones were all women. They were like banshees. I think Haystacks and Daddy had quite an effect on them....primitive urges were released. With ten divisions of those women, our troubles here would be over very quickly.

Still see posters round the TN area for wrestling. Seems a sad shadow of the glory days - can't really imagine Captain Peng or 'Maidstone's own, Kurupt' enthralling the nation on ITV on a Saturday afternoon.

I’m obviously biased but compared to Pinarellos, Felts and Cervelos I’ve rented in Mallorca over the years I still feel the stiffness yet comfort of this superior.

Coutts business model was failing, high costs/low margins. Ever since natwest bought it, it's not been what it was anyway.

That I met you..
I have! Personally I'm a Mk2 person which are a fair bit more reasonably priced!
