if you prefer to not have 'people poking their noses' in your sales threads, you're welcome to enjoy the wild west of gumtree or facebook marketplace.

I don’t think asking valid questions does any harm.
It’s hard to see why the OP wouldn’t simply share more information instead of being all cryptic.Calling out slightly suspect sounding sales can save other forum members from getting done over.
If you don’t want your sale thread being open to legitimate scrutiny then eBay might be the better choice.
Lfgss classifieds is one of the best places for buying cycling gear and it’s absolutely not a dick move to simply ask for a bit more information.
I know it's against forum protocol but maybe people shouldn't comment on someone's thread if they're not even interested in buying the product? Might make people's sales a hell of a lot easier!!
