Agree, the pictures with the proper Mondrian look really LOOK (and I love it, but that is personal). You might not buy your Ferrari in red, but Ferrari is associated to red, and LOOK to Mondrian. the black is actually having a thin Mondrian scheme, but honestly that doesn't count.
Also do agree that LOOK frames used to have a more distinctive shape... but enforcing it just for the sake of it is maybe not the way to go
