I have a SMD Deschutes Tarp. Sleep under it all the time with a Tyvek groundsheet.
It's just about possible to sleep without touching either end, but it's a real challenge. I'm 6ft nothing.
It packs down nice light and small, but after a few days I start to dream of something different.
Did you ride out any good weather in this?
Thinking I want to be light so I should go the full hog and get this not lunar.
Whatever I get I'll take to Kygyzstan.
I've been through some bits but it's a floorless tent with no bathtub insert so it's not so good in mega high wind and rain.
I take it when I want to do bigger miles, just me, out for 3-5 days, and I can't tarp.
I have slept in it for 10 days straight and I didn't hate myself.
