Trek T1 60cm

I recently bought this Trek T1 off a friend. It's too small for my 6'3" height and has to go. SOLD. Collection in Bath or Bristol. See here for photos.

Top tube c-c: 56.8cm
Head tube: 19.1cm.

The bike almost presents as new. There are some very minor signs of usage; the worst being some small scratches on the drive side seat stay as pictured. There is one very slightly bent spoke in the front wheel, but it runs pretty true. The lovely Veloflex Record tires are almost new, having only been used at two indoor track sessions. No evidence of brake use.

The red paint has sparkles in it which look glorious in the sun. The frame is one of the last US made aluminium frames from Trek. I include in the sale most of the original finishing kit (40cm Bontrager bar & seat post + Fizik Arione saddle; see pics). The bike is very light and as pictured weighs about 6.8kg. Gearing is 49x14.

Everything in the pictures is for sale except for the following items which I want to keep:

1. Dura Ace pedals
   
2. Specialized saddle
   
3. 3T Rotundo bars
   

These are lovely! I worked in a Trek dealer at the time when these were released, my favourite era of Trek.

Bumping this thread as unfortunately I need to move this on. Exactly the same great condition as I bought it, have however fitted Jack Brown tyres and a 17t cog (originals can be inc). Space issues mean I have to move it on. Can do collection in Bristol, Shoreditch or post on top. £375

Couple of images from when I set it up with swept bars and pedals. Brake has been removed and hasn't marked the fork at all.

I think that’s the 2006 colourway, which if it is means the frame was built in the USA. Mine has a sticker on the steerer tube with the date of manufacture on it. Correct me if I’m off.

oh nice cheers, yeah says "handmade in the USA" along the chainstay. I'll have to see if the steerer tube has a date

Yep, basically Treks answer to the alu vig. Kinda glad they never became cool or desirable because it keeps them reasonably priced.
Mine is a keeper, proper stiff track bike.

Sure it's the same one? The one on eBay has a Bikewise sticker at the top of the downtube that wasn't on the bike listed here (obvs could have been added since though...)
