I always wanted a Swiss Cross too, but just keep in mind that they have a low front end. Less than 600mm stack for the XL size.

Do't recall many options with steel frame and carbon fork. This 531 Graham Weigh looks good: https://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?t=156472 (Note no bottle cage bosses)

Looks super nice, currently riding something similar, a 531 Nigel dean with a headset converter but not a lot of options in terms of forks. Maybe it’s a pipe dream, seem to be more on the market in the US

Cross Check and stick a nice fork on it?

Not a bad shout, wish they weren’t so overpriced

True, but plenty available used. The rumour is that they’ll be discontinued soon (if not already) so if it’s an option it might be worth looking into sooner rather than later.
I got my new Cross-Check F&F in Feb for £540 from my LBS for context.
Looong shot but always dreamt of a Ritchey Swiss cross but don’t see them around so often here in the uk. Did see a ratty one go on Facebook for £120 a few months ago!!! But someone got there before me. Looked into the new ones but I’ve got an aversion to disc brakes so ideally looking for 90s-2017 era Canti cx frame with a carbon fork, effective top tube of 58 ideally. Hit me, cheers
