Fullstops don't matter in a gmail address. You can add or remove them as you like before the @ and it'll still come to your inbox.
EG:
nef@gmail.com and n.e.f@gmail.com would both land in the same inbox.It's also a handy trick to get extra free signups for stuff by just adding extra fullstops as most places will still recognise it as a new email address.
Is it really your email address? I've got one thats initial.surname at Gmail, and often get stuff for initialsurname at Gmail. I just report them as spam and/or delete them.
