Finally managed to play the Starclassic (whilst recording). It's great! It sounds so beefy and has loads of really well thought out features that make it nice and easy to set up quickly and consistently. That sparkle!

looks bloody lovely! which SLP is that?
makes me want to do silly things like buy a kit i have no money to buy and nowhere to play :D

I can't remember actually! I just bought the biggest snare I could get my hands on, it really cuts through when we're playing in grubby little venues with no mics. Sounds great as well!
