Android Dual SIM phones should allow you to chose what is on / off for each use case. You can disable mobile data for one for example, but all apps will work using WiFi. I would imagine that Apple so something similar, just more expensively.
It's android so that sounds like it'll work - will have a play around with a spare sim. Thanks
Is it eSim compatible? Should be, or it should have a second sim slot. Either way should be fine.
I have a second sim for all data/call needs when I am in the US. Works fine for my UK# verified apps.
