Ok so Rychtarski and Orlowski have been mentioned here, and there are lots of positive reviews on forums. Has anyone heard of or dealt with Lucas cycles? I know they're Czechs, not Poles, but daren't start a new thread about Czech Republic frames/framebuilders lest i incur the wrath of somebody who's been on here since time began :)

There's also Robert Sterba in Czech Republik, Arkobici in Slovakia and Daniel Merenyi in Hungary, if we speak of Central European framebuilders.

Rebooting this - I'm just starting a request with Jacek from Orlowski for a tourer/cross bike. Rychtarski is an option as well. Does anyone have any pricing for a typical cross bike from either builder?
-
• #44
That's pretty much the first thing you ask the builder, no? From experience i'd say at least €700.

On this german site you will find a truely massive collection of steel frame builders.
It is great.
And nicely organized by country;Stahlrahmen means steelframes...

Let's undust this one - seems like guys from GCN located another polish brand - http://rondo.cc/
Any experience with them? -
• #47
I don’t think GCN have unearthed them. They’re fairly big, popular in the UK.
Sold on Wiggle, Sigma etc
