  • went to a pub for a sunny afternoon pint last week, ordered a bitter, they managed to pull about half a pint before the tap stopped working. the bar staff said did i want to change my order to the next bitter along i said yes, they then proceeded to top up the same glass with the next pint along. no new glass no fresh pint just a combo of two halves of different bitters. we laughed about it, i didn't moan and drank the mix. luckily it was the same brewery and the two pints didn't taste too different but i must say i was a bit taken aback. that's not usual right ?

  • It is highly unusual.

But who knows what's happening over at the breweries anyway, maybe they are combining the ends of different batches to make full barrels occasionally.
